FOZZY — the band led by wrestling star Chris Jericho and STUCK MOJO mastermind Rich “The Duke” Ward — has released a music video for its latest single, “I Know Evil”.
The clip was filmed on the road by James Davies and Todd Crawford and edited by Keaton Landis, cutting live and backstage footage into a document of the band's current touring cycle rather than a staged narrative video.
“I Know Evil” arrived in April as the follow-up to “Fall In Line”, released in April 2025 via Madison Records, which in turn followed the standalone single “Spotlight” from October 2023. All three were produced by FOZZY's longtime collaborator Johnny Andrews, whose credits include THREE DAYS GRACE, ALL THAT REMAINS and HALESTORM.
That singles-only pattern is deliberate. Asked by U.K. outlet MetalTalk whether a follow-up to 2022's “Boombox” was coming, Ward said the band plans “to stick with just releasing singles for a while”, citing both the economics of the streaming era and Jericho's parallel careers in wrestling, podcasting and television. Releasing one song at a time, he argued, protects quality rather than diluting it across a full album's worth of material.
Ward also described how his own approach to writing has shifted over the years. Where he once wrote reactively and from raw emotion, he now works more analytically, pointing to QUEEN, PINK FLOYD and AC/DC as models for songcraft built to last. With a single-at-a-time model, he said, the band “realize that it's important to be as perfect as we can make it.”
FOZZY surprise-released a cover of the Ozzy Osbourne classic “Crazy Train” last September, two months after issuing the video for “Fall In Line”, filmed at HM Studios in Las Vegas.
“Boombox”, the band's most recent album, came out in May 2022 and featured “I Still Burn” — now past three million YouTube views — along with the Top 10 singles “Nowhere To Run” and “Sane”.
FOZZY's current lineup is Jericho on vocals, Ward and Billy Grey on guitars, P.J. Farley on bass and Grant Brooks on drums. Brooks joined in January 2022, replacing founding drummer Frank Fontsere, who stepped down after 23 years to focus on family and other projects.
