HATEBREED have announced their first new album in six years, "Fatal Paradox," due November 6 via BLKIIBLK, a division of Frontiers Label Group, and shared the record's lead single "Kill Count Increase."
The eleven-track album includes "The Carrion Choir," "Decisions Become Destinies," "Total Invincible," the title track "Fatal Paradox," "Still A Threat," "Truth Is A Lion," "Make The Demons Obey" and "None Left To Save." Among the record's notable moments is "Sacrifice Season," which features a guest vocal appearance from OBITUARY frontman John Tardy — a rare crossover pairing two of extreme music's most instantly recognizable voices.
Vocalist Jamey Jasta described "Kill Count Increase" as an ideal introduction to the record. "'Kill Count Increase' is the lead track on 'Fatal Paradox' and a perfect way of summing up our first album in six years from the start. It's straightforward, in-your-face HATEBREED," he said. Jasta also highlighted the band's ongoing collaboration with longtime producer Zeuss, calling the partnership one of the highlights of making the record: "One of my favorite things about making this record was working with our brother-in-arms Zeuss once again."
Drummer Matt Byrne offered an equally emphatic assessment of the band's momentum heading into the album's release. "2026 is the year of HATEBREED. This juggernaut as we know it is picking up the pace rapidly and is taking no prisoners," he said.
The album announcement arrives alongside confirmation that HATEBREED will join the second 2026 leg of the Summer Slaughter Tour, launching August 20 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with support from TERROR, INCANTATION, GATES TO HELL, TORTURE and CREEPING DEATH. The tour will give fans an early opportunity to hear new material from "Fatal Paradox" performed live well ahead of its release.
Formed in Connecticut in the early 1990s, HATEBREED have long stood at the intersection of hardcore and metal, building a reputation as one of the genre's most consistently intense live acts. With six years since their last full-length, "Fatal Paradox" represents one of 2026's most anticipated releases from the hardcore-metal crossover scene.
