Polish black metal act KALT VINDUR has premiered the music video for "The Void Of Time," the title track of their upcoming fourth full-length album, due November 27 via The Circle Music.
Formed in 2015 in Dukla, in southern Poland, KALT VINDUR has steadily built a reputation as one of the most distinctive acts to emerge from the Polish black metal underground, blending melody, atmosphere and raw intensity into a sound the band describes as "Subcarpathian Black Metal."
The band's catalog runs from its 2017 debut, "Delusions," through the critically acclaimed "And Nothing Is Endless" (2020), before entering a new chapter in 2023 by signing with Greek label The Circle Music. That partnership produced "Magna Mater" (2024), widely regarded as a breakthrough for the band and a turning point in the evolution of its sound.
"The Void Of Time" builds directly on the foundation laid by "Magna Mater," further refining KALT VINDUR's musical vision. Rooted in black metal but driven by strong songwriting, expressive melodies and emotional depth, the album balances aggression with atmosphere, embracing both darkness and melancholy without losing its sense of grandeur — material the band calls its most mature and cohesive to date.
The record was produced by Artur Szydło and Krzysztof Kokosiński, who also handled mixing and mastering. Wojciech Kozub wrote the lyrics, while Szydło composed all the music. Drums and vocals were tracked by Grzegorz Gnat at Regnat Audio Studio in Cieklin, with Kokosiński contributing additional synths to the outro of "Jesień" and Szydło adding synths and bass to "On The Way To...". Artwork comes from Maciej Kamuda, known for his work with BLUT AUS NORD, SPACESLUG and SUNNATA, with layouts by Paweł Kuranda (ZØRORMR, DOCTOR VISOR) and band photography by Karol "Panku" Pankiewicz.
"The Void Of Time" will arrive digitally, on jewel-case CD, and on vinyl in two colorways — transparent marbled blue-and-black and marbled pink-and-black.
