SERPENTS Release New Single 'Painkiller' Via Out Of Line Music

Polish metalcore band SERPENTS have released their new single "Painkiller," paired with a lyric video, via Berlin-based label Out Of Line Music. The track is out now on all major streaming platforms.

Formed at the end of 2023 in Szczecin, Poland, SERPENTS built their sound on a blend of metalcore, alternative metal and electronic textures across a run of 2023 and 2024 singles — "Tangled," "Self-Made Suffering," "Hourglass," "The Void," "Walking Disaster" and "The Signal" — establishing a style that pairs crushing heaviness with atmospheric electronic detail. The five-piece signed with Out Of Line Music, the Berlin label whose roster includes COMBICHRIST, BLUTENGEL and Till Lindemann, earlier this year.

"Painkiller" leans on dynamic contrast, moving between punishing breakdowns, driving rhythm sections and anthemic choruses. The interplay between aggressive and melodic vocals carries much of the track's emotional weight, with each section building toward a chorus built for the pit as much as the singalong.

SERPENTS have used the road to build their following as much as their studio output. After a run of Polish dates alongside THE MATERIA, the band joined EKTOMORF for a 23-date European tour in 2024, then opened for New York alternative-metal veteran Keith Caputo in early 2026 — stage time that has sharpened a live show built around the same intensity that defines their recordings.

With "Painkiller," SERPENTS add another confident entry to a catalog that has been building steadily since 2023, a single built to hold its own alongside the bigger names on the European metalcore circuit the band has spent the past two years touring behind.
