German act WALLFAHRER have released "Gipfelthron," the second single from their upcoming album "Knochenkabinett."
The track follows "Wanderer in den Schatten," the album's first single, released on 7 June. "Gipfelthron" arrived on 6 July alongside an eleven-minute lyric video, described as a solitary journey into the heart of nature.
WALLFAHRER remain a deliberately anonymous project. The musicians behind the band have never revealed their identities or backgrounds, a choice made to keep focus on the band's message rather than its members. The mystery has fueled speculation in the music press that established musicians are behind the project.
The band's independently released debut album, "Anthologie der Abkehr," came out in April 2018 to strong acclaim.
