ANTHRAX Unleash 'Everybody's Got A Plan' Video, Third Single From 'Cursum Perficio'

ANTHRAX have released the official music video for "Everybody's Got A Plan," the third single from Cursum Perficio — the New York thrash institution's first studio album in a decade. The clip premiered via Revolver on August 6.

Rather than a staged concept piece, the video leans on footage shot during ANTHRAX's recent European run, including the band's set at Lisbon's Estádio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica, where they supported IRON MAIDEN. The song itself is a lean, mid-paced stomper with Joey Belladonna riding one of the album's most immediate choruses — a reminder that the band's fourth decade has not blunted the attack.

Cursum Perficio arrives September 18 via Megaforce in the United States and Nuclear Blast in Europe. The Latin title translates roughly as "I complete my journey." It is ANTHRAX's first full-length since 2016's For All Kings, and the gap was not for lack of tape: the bulk of the record was tracked back in 2022 at Dave Grohl's Studio 606 in Los Angeles, with Jay Ruston co-producing alongside the band. Touring commitments, a 40th-anniversary campaign and Charlie Benante's parallel duties in PANTERA repeatedly pushed the release back.

Two singles preceded this one — "It's For The Kids" in May and "The Edge Of Perfection" in July.

The album's line-up is the same one that has carried ANTHRAX since 2013: Belladonna on vocals, Scott Ian and Jonathan Donais on guitars, Frank Bello on bass and Benante behind the kit.
