Greek extreme metal band CAELESTIA have released a music video for "Wolves," a track from their third full-length album, "Revelations In Black," out now via Eclipse Records.
"Revelations In Black" marks a deliberate sonic shift for the Athens-formed band, bridging the melodic Gothenburg death metal sound with the mechanical precision of American death metal. The album was produced by Zack Ohren (MACHINE HEAD, FORBIDDEN, IMMOLATION) at Castle Ultimate Studios, and features drummer Marc Reign, formerly of DESTRUCTION and MORGOTH, behind the kit.
Lyrically, the record leans into gothic literature and psychological unease, with its title track adapting Carl Jacobi's vampire fiction into blackened, melodic death metal form.
Formed in Athens in 2013, CAELESTIA broke through with their 2015 debut "Beneath Abyss" before building a reputation across European and UK stages alongside acts like ARCH ENEMY and KATATONIA. "Revelations In Black" is the band's most ambitious work to date, and "Wolves" is the latest cut pulled from it to get the video treatment.
