Southern California pirate metal crew THE DREAD CREW OF ODDWOOD have announced a two-leg North American tour celebrating the tenth anniversary of their fourth album, "Lawful Evil."
Released in 2016, "Lawful Evil" packed fourteen tracks and more than forty-two minutes of the band's self-described "heavy mahogany" attack — an acoustic-driven strain of pirate metal — into a release that pushed the band's popularity into a new tier, fueling extensive touring across North America, the UK and Europe, including a 2019 appearance at Wacken Winter Nights. The band's fifth album, 2024's "Rust & Glory," refocused their attack on North America with a support run behind TÝR alongside TROLLFEST and ÆTHER REALM. THE DREAD CREW OF ODDWOOD went on to play 70000TONS OF METAL in 2025 and returned to Europe earlier this year on the Heidenfest 2026 tour with KORPIKLAANI, FINNTROLL, HEIDEVOLK and TROLLFEST.
The "Lawful Evil 10 Year Anniversary Tour" splits into two legs: an Eastern run through the upper U.S. and lower Canada from October 6-17, followed by a Western leg through the U.S. and Canada from December 2-11. It marks the band's first North American headlining tour since the original "Lawful Evil" tour in 2016.
"Denizens of North America, prepare for a Lawful Evil overload!" the band said in a statement. "We're coming to a town near you (unless we aren't) to perform a set that's brimming with our favorite Lawful Evil tracks... We'll be returning to dominate the seas in familiar territory and we're brimming with excitement to scour cities previously unexplored."
