HAVOK have announced a 26-date North American headline run for autumn 2026, taking HELLRIPPER, SLACKJAW and XOTH along for the entire route.
The tour opens October 21 at Metro Music Hall in Salt Lake City, works its way down the West Coast and across the South before turning north through the Midwest, and finishes November 20 with a hometown show at Denver's Gothic Theatre. Tickets go on sale Friday, August 21 at 10:00 a.m. local time.
The headline attraction for a lot of the bill is what comes second: Scotland's HELLRIPPER, whose blackened speed metal has built a substantial following without the band ever having played the United States.
"We're thrilled to bring this killer package to the States and end the run in HAVOK's hometown," the band said. "This will be HELLRIPPER's first time touring the USA, so you won't want to miss this. SLACKJAW and XOTH will get the party started properly. We can't wait to see everyone on the road. Buy your tickets early!"
The run follows a change of address. HAVOK recently signed with BLKIIBLK, the heavy imprint of Frontiers Label Group, and marked it with the single "Fifth Generation Warfare". New music is promised alongside the touring.
The Colorado quartet have spent more than two decades sharpening a thoroughly traditionalist take on thrash — throat-slicing guitars, breakneck rhythms, vitriolic vocals — across "Burn" (2009), "Time Is Up" (2011), "Unnatural Selection" (2013), "Conformicide" (2017) and "V" (2020), the last of which drew a verdict from Metal Hammer that has followed them since: "HAVOK have nailed 21st century thrash." Their first independent release, the "New Eyes" EP, came in 2024. Along the way they have toured with MEGADETH, ANTHRAX, TESTAMENT, EXODUS, SEPULTURA, KREATOR, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, SUICIDAL TENDENCIES and CHILDREN OF BODOM.
