IN FLAMES and TRIVIUM will cross Europe together in spring 2027 on a 26-date arena tour that opens March 29 at Dublin's 3Arena and closes May 7 at the Spodek in Katowice. PALEFACE SWISS and VOLA are on every date.
The billing is the interesting part. Instead of naming one band the headliner for the whole run, the two have carved the continent up between them. TRIVIUM headline in the UK and Ireland with IN FLAMES as special guests. IN FLAMES headline in Scandinavia with TRIVIUM as special guests. Across mainland Europe the two co-headline. It is an honest admission that neither band's pull is evenly distributed across the continent — the Swedes are a bigger draw the further north the routing goes — and a neat way of never having to argue about it.
"We are excited to return to Europe with our old friends in TRIVIUM!" IN FLAMES said in the announcement. TRIVIUM answered in kind: "We're beyond stoked to be joining forces with our longtime friends IN FLAMES once again."
The two have been circling each other for years, and the phrase "once again" is doing real work — this spring run is the European half of a pairing already booked for North America. That fall 2026 tour, announced in July, has TRIVIUM headlining with IN FLAMES, ORBIT CULTURE and FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY in support. By the time the Dublin show opens in March, the two bands will have spent most of a year sharing a stage.
The support slots are worth noting on their own. PALEFACE SWISS have gone from a Swiss beatdown act to one of the most reliably ferocious draws in European heavy music inside about five years, and VOLA bring a Danish progressive streak that keeps the bill from being one long blunt-force exercise.
An artist pre-sale opens Wednesday, August 26 at 10 a.m. CEST (9 a.m. BST). General on-sale follows Friday, August 28 at 10 a.m. CEST (9 a.m. BST), through InFlames.com and Trivium.org.
