JUDAS PRIEST launched the 2026 "Faithkeepers" world tour on July 25 at Germany's BOBfest. That opening 17-song set at Mönchengladbach's SparkassenPark already signalled a deep-catalogue mood, restoring two 1970s cuts — "The Ripper" and "Delivering The Goods" — that had not been played live since 2019. Both survived into the Bratislava set, as did "Steeler" and "Desert Plains", tracks that rarely make the cut on arena runs.

The European "Faithkeepers" leg arrived less than a year after PRIEST wrapped a 22-city North American co-headlining tour with Alice Cooper.

The band continues to tour behind "Invincible Shield", its nineteenth studio album, which debuted at No. 18 on the Billboard 200 and entered the U.K. chart at No. 2 — kept off the top spot only by Ariana Grande's "Eternal Sunshine". Before that, PRIEST's best U.K. showing had been 1980's "British Steel" at No. 4; 2018's "Firepower" reached No. 5. "Invincible Shield" became the band's fifth U.K. Top 10 album alongside those two, 2014's "Redeemer Of Souls" (No. 6) and the 1979 live album "Unleashed In The East" (No. 10). It also topped the charts in Germany, Finland, Sweden and Switzerland, hit No. 5 in France, No. 8 in Italy and No. 16 in Australia.

During the 2025 European "Shield Of Pain" tour, PRIEST built the setlist around "Painkiller", marking that album's 35th anniversary with seven tracks from it: the title cut plus "All Guns Blazing", "Hell Patrol", "A Touch Of Evil", "Night Crawler", "One Shot At Glory" and "Between The Hammer And The Anvil". The band had promised a "rare" and "unique set" for that run, and delivered.
