Marilyn Manson has issued an expanded edition of "One Assassination Under God - Chapter 2", adding a previously unreleased song, "You Can't Die Young", to the album's original nine tracks. It is available digitally worldwide via Nuclear Blast Records.
"Chapter 2" arrived earlier this month, co-written and co-produced with longtime collaborator Tyler Bates, and completed the story begun on 2024's "One Assassination Under God - Chapter 1". The record produced the singles "Exit Wound" and "Front Toward Enemy", plus opener "Unalive", which got a video directed by Anthony Silva.
"I am proud to give you the second chapter of 'One Assassination Under God'," Manson said of the album. "This completes my story. I used each stone that was thrown at me to sharpen my edges. I outgrew purgatory and carved these songs into the skin of the world. As you listen I hope it forms a scar that you cannot forget."
The new track also turns up in the project's virtual art exhibition, a collection of original visual works presented alongside the music written for them, with audio commentary from Manson — including newly added commentary on "You Can't Die Young".

The release lands mid-tour. Manson is currently on a North American co-headline run with Rob Zombie, with THE HU and ORGY on select dates; several shows have sold out and the trek continues through September, after which he returns for headline shows and festival appearances this autumn. His touring band features guitarist Nick Annis, bassist Tim Skold — who played with Manson between 2002 and 2008, first on guitar before moving to bass — and Piggy D., who has switched from bass to co-lead guitar alongside Annis.
Manson has spent the past four years in a series of court battles after several women, most prominently the actor Evan Rachel Wood, accused him of sexual, emotional and physical abuse. He has denied all the allegations, countersued a number of his accusers, and judges have dismissed several of the lawsuits against him. He maintains that his "intimate relationships have always been entirely consensual with like-minded partners".
