200 STAB WOUNDS Announce 'Lowest Form' For February 19 — Arthur Rizk Produced, And They Play Munich On Release Day

200 STAB WOUNDS will release "Lowest Form", their third album, on February 19, 2027 through Metal Blade Records. Eight tracks, produced, mixed and mastered by Arthur Rizk (POWER TRIP, CAVALERA), with cover art by James Bousema (MUNICIPAL WASTE, FROZEN SOUL). Opening track "Pangs Of Conscience" is out now as the lead single.

"We've worked harder on this record than anything else in our lives," the band said. "We're really proud of this one, and we hope you guys enjoy it as much as we do. See you somewhere in the world. Here's to a new chapter."

The pitch for what has changed since 2024's "Manual Manic Procedures" is not more brutality but more room. Leaner arrangements, wider dynamic swings, and riffs that hit harder specifically because they are given space to land. Atmospheric synth interludes turn up between songs, and there is a spoken-word passage in "Symbolic In Glory" — the kind of move a death metal band usually gets punished for, and one the label is careful to frame as serving the song rather than announcing an evolution.

"Pangs Of Conscience" is where that approach is meant to be audible, and the subject matter is unusually direct for the genre. "This song is about entering a point in your life where you find yourself sometimes making mistakes that go against who you really are as a human, and having to find yourself again," the band explained. "This song is one of the most dynamic musically and lyrically that we've done, and we're really proud of it." Accountability and self-reflection, delivered at full ferocity.

The Cleveland four-piece is Steve Buhl on vocals and guitars, Raymond Macdonald on guitars, Todd Thompson on bass and Owen Pooley on drums.

One detail the announcement leaves on the table: the band's European tour with WHITECHAPEL, SYLOSIS and TRIBAL GAZE runs from late January through early March 2027, and the routing puts them at the Backstage in Munich on February 19 — release day. Before that, they finish out September in the United States with MAUL and TRIBAL GAZE, including Louder Than Life on September 20.
