Israeli progressive cinematic metal pioneers AMASEFFER have released "Lady of Slaughter", the second single from their long-awaited comeback album When The Lions Leave Their Den, due worldwide on October 8, 2026. Issued on September 1, it marks the band's return after an 18-year silence that followed their acclaimed 2008 debut Slaves For Life.
The self-released album continues mastermind Erez Yohanan's monumental Exodus trilogy, picking up the Biblical narrative from the day of the Exodus through Moses' ascent to Mount Sinai to receive the Ten Commandments. Rich in orchestral arrangements, authentic Middle Eastern folk instrumentation, multilingual narration and cinematic sound design, it also introduces new lead singers Lukky Sparxx and Jessica Mercy.
"AMASEFFER is a voyage started 20 years ago," says Yohanan. "It is boundless, timeless — a piece of art beyond space and time."
