ARMORED SAINT and METAL CHURCH are extending The Metal Saint Tour into next year. The co-headlining run that starts November 2 in San Juan Capistrano, California, now has a second, spring 2027 leg: 18 dates from March 19 in Austin, Texas to April 10 in Las Vegas, with ONE MACHINE in the support slot. On the same day, ARMORED SAINT released a visualizer for "Not On Your Life" from their ninth album, Emotion Factory Reset (Metal Blade).
The kaleidoscopic clip is the work of Costin Chioreanu (TWILIGHT13MEDIA) and follows earlier videos for "Every Man-Any Man", "Close To The Bone" and "Hit A Moonshot". John Bush says the song grew out of a phrase guitarist Phil Sandoval brought in, "you already know", which he rhymed with "John Doe" — a nod both to the singer of X and to a nobody you can't place. The lyric is stuffed with old-fashioned turns of phrase like "dollars to donuts", "Heavens to Betsy" (a wink at his late mother Betty and at Metal Blade labelmate Betsy Bitch) and "the drunk tank", which Bush jokes sounds like something said "on the streets of Manhattan in 1950".
As for the tour, Bush explains that "three weeks in the Fall just didn't seem enough", adding that the country still has plenty of ground left to cover. METAL CHURCH guitarist Kurdt Vanderhoof and drummer Ken Mary both say they can't wait to hit the road again with their "brothers in metal". The two bands already shared stages in Europe earlier this year, and both have new albums out in 2026: ARMORED SAINT's Emotion Factory Reset and METAL CHURCH's Dead To Rights.
The fall dates, with LIVEKILL opening, were announced back in May and run through November 21 in Agoura Hills, California.
