BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE Name Album Eight 'Social Apocalypse' — First New Song In Four Years, And Two Guests They Almost Never Take

BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE have announced "Social Apocalypse", their eighth studio album, out March 19, 2027 via Spinefarm. The title track landed with it — the Welsh band's first new song in four years — with a video directed, shot and edited by Chris Wade of Dogbrain Videos.

Matt Tuck spends the song on "the end of the world as we know it", the point at which "all hope has faded", and he is not being coy about where that came from.

"Everything in life is changing at such a rapid pace, and it is hard to find a great deal of positivity when you look at events in the world," Tuck says. "People are being pitted against each other. The world is full of conflict instead of unity. As a father, I look at what the world is like for younger people, and how completely different it is now."

Carl Bown produced, his fourth BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE album, in between work with SLEEP TOKEN, WHILE SHE SLEEPS and MALEVOLENCE. Tuck's summary of what he is for: "Carl doesn't let you settle. He is always ready to speak up, push and challenge you to be the best version of you."

The album carries two guest vocalists, which for this band is close to an event — they have historically kept the guest list empty. Chrissy Costanza of AGAINST THE CURRENT duets on "In The Absence Of You", and LORNA SHORE's Will Ramos turns up on "I Don't Trust Tomorrow".

The tour attached to it is the largest BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE have attempted: twenty-four European arena dates from January 21 to February 27, 2027, with PENDULUM as special guest throughout and DARK DEVINE opening. They sold out The O2 in London last year co-headlining with TRIVIUM; this time they return to the same room as the only headliner on the bill. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, September 30 at 9 a.m.
