Doro Pesch will release "Wild At Heart" on December 11, timed to land on the opening night of her "Magic Winter" tour. It is billed as a special release rather than a studio album proper, but the nine tracks are new, and most of them were written in the weeks immediately before the announcement.

First single "Rock You 2 Death" arrives with a video shot in Sweden and cut together with live footage from Wacken Open Air.

"'Rock You 2 Death' is a great sing-along anthem, very much in the style of 'We Are The Metal Heads' and 'Raise Your Fist In The Air'," Pesch said. "This song is also going to go off live!"

The writing was deliberately last-minute. "The new tracks on 'Wild At Heart' are all songs close to my heart; many of them were written in the past few weeks," she said. "I wanted to have brand-new songs ready for the upcoming tour that would really ignite both on the album and live." She adds that the release "really packs a punch" and that she can "immediately add two or three new bangers to the setlist".

The closing stretch pulls in a guest. Track eight is a live version of "Touch Of Evil" featuring Alissa White-Gluz, formerly of ARCH ENEMY and currently fronting DRAGONFORCE.

"Wild At Heart - Special Release (Tour Edition)" track listing:

  1. Rock You 2 Death
  2. I Believe In Love
  3. You R Not Alone
  4. Fight Like A Lion
  5. Too Little Too Late
  6. Stay With Me
  7. Holding Out For A Hero
  8. Touch Of Evil (live) (feat. Alissa White-Gluz)
  9. Remember The Good Times

The record comes out on Pesch's own Rare Diamonds Production, distributed by Edel, in a spread of formats: a digipak with a reversible cover, shaped vinyl, picture vinyl, coloured vinyl, a box set, digital — and a liquid-filled vinyl loaded with dark red glitter.

It follows last autumn's "Warriors Of The Sea", which grew out of two sold-out Metal Queen Metal Cruises in 2025; a third sailed in June 2026, and the demand from those is what produced this one. Her last full studio album remains "Conqueress - Forever Strong And Proud", released in October 2023 on Nuclear Blast.

Pesch has been at this since the early 1980s with WARLOCK, one of the first women to force a way into a scene that had no intention of making room. Over ten million albums and more than 3,500 concerts across 60 countries later, she collected a lifetime achievement award in Düsseldorf in March 2025, presented by SCORPIONS frontman Klaus Meine. Earlier this month she walked out with DIRKSCHNEIDER in Wuppertal for "Breaking The Law" and "Winter Dreams".
