Swiss death metal outfit ENERGUMEN will release their debut full-length, Dissolution Impulse, on November 27 through Osmose Productions. The album comes out on CD, vinyl LP and cassette, and the band have shared its second track, "Entangled Meiosis", via Osmose's official YouTube channel.
The record ends a long wait. ENERGUMEN made their name in the underground with the 2014 7" EP Void Spiritualism on Blood Harvest, three tracks of chaotic, bestial death metal rooted in the early South American extreme scene, and then went quiet for the better part of a decade.
Osmose describes Dissolution Impulse as seven tracks of "relentless, incendiary Metal of Death", a maze of hallucinatory violence that swings between primitive brute force and a colder, more calculated complexity. The songs mostly sit around the five-minute mark, with the nearly ten-minute "Disruption Within Inseminated Immutability" as the centerpiece.
