Seattle sludge/hardcore trio GREAT FALLS — underground lifers with pasts in KISS IT GOODBYE, UNDERTOW, PLAYING ENEMY, BASTARD FEAST and GAYTHEIST — will release their new LP The Bite That Grows Up on October 16, 2026 via NEUROSIS' label Neurot Recordings. Lead single "Nicotine In The Spine" is streaming now, and preorders are live for CD, digital and three vinyl variants.
The single features additional vocals by Peter Clement Lund, the late guitarist/vocalist of Danish tourmates KOLLAPSE, who tragically passed away a few weeks after tracking them. The forty-minute album — sludge-meets-hardcore brutality tinged with post-metal, noise dirges and crushing low end — was engineered by Scott Evans (NEUROSIS, SUMAC) at Studio Litho and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege.
Just before the release, GREAT FALLS hit the road with labelmates KOWLOON WALLED CITY across eastern North America, October 5–12, including a set at Emissions From The Monolith alongside VOIVOD, CAVITY, TORCHE, RWAKE, WEEDEATER and more. The new album will be on sale early at these shows.
