LUCIFERICON have announced their third album. "Thy Stellar Form" will arrive early next year through Invictus Productions, the Irish label that has handled the Dutch band's output throughout.
It follows "The Warlock of Da'ath" from 2022 and the 2018 debut "Al-Khem-Me" — an unhurried pace of roughly one album every four years, which for a band working this particular seam is less a problem than a house style.
LUCIFERICON have spent around fifteen years on a strain of death metal that sits closer to the murk of the genre's late-eighties and early-nineties European strand than to anything engineered for clarity. The occult framing is not decoration either: titles like "Al-Khem-Me" and "The Occult Waters" have marked out a consistent set of preoccupations across the catalogue, and "Thy Stellar Form" reads as a continuation rather than a pivot.
Invictus Productions is the right context for that. The label has spent two decades releasing death and black metal that trades polish for atmosphere, and a band on their fourth release with the same imprint is usually a band that has found its audience and stopped worrying about widening it.
Track listing, artwork and an exact release date have not yet been disclosed. The album is confirmed for early 2027 on CD and vinyl through Invictus.
