SUICIDE SILENCE have released the video for "Make Your Exit", directed by Nathan Karma Cox and taken from "Graceless", the California band's eighth album, out November 20 through Century Media.
The song runs two minutes and thirty-three seconds, which is about the average across the record — eleven tracks, nothing over three and a half minutes, most of them under three. That is a deliberate posture. "Graceless" is not an album interested in taking the long way around.
Chris Garza describes an approach built on getting out of the band's own way. The goal, he says, was to "just get out of the way and serve that band logo. When we choose to do that, great things follow. We're back to doing it exactly as we did it when we were kids: just playing heavy shit and doing it from the heart."
Twenty-four years in, SUICIDE SILENCE occupy an unusual position: a band that dragged deathcore out of garages and message boards into the extreme metal mainstream, then spent a decade being argued about for it. "The Cleansing", "No Time To Bleed" and "The Black Crown" are canon, inseparable from the rise of modern extreme music, and "You Only Live Once" has passed 150 million plays on YouTube alone. Deathcore was a word thrown at them as a limit; they planted it as a flag instead.
The current lineup is guitarists Garza and Mark Heylmun, bassist Dan Kenny, vocalist Hernan "Eddie" Hermida and drummer Ernie Iniguez, who has been behind the kit for four years since Alex Lopez left in April 2022. Garza took a hiatus earlier this year, with Ian Waye of SOREPTION filling in on guitar; he is back on the record and the credits.

The "Reminders Of Hell" tour follows the album out, launching November 6 in Riverside, California and finishing December 13 in Los Angeles, with EMMURE, ANGELMAKER and SYNESTIA supporting.
