Polish blackened melodic death metal band WINTERFORGE have released a new single, "From Hell's Heart", accompanied by a lyric video made with Brazilian filmmaker Iandro Porto of Shaumbra ArtVisuals. The track was mixed and mastered by Filip Hałucha at Heinrich House Studio, where BEHEMOTH and VESANIA have also recorded.
"The lyrics are based on themes from Herman Melville's 'Moby Dick'," says vocalist Aleksander Halicki. "The song tackles man's struggle against unyielding nature, fate, or God... The main character, Captain Ahab, carries hell within himself, and his mind is consumed by demons of vengeance."
Formed in 2018 as a studio project, WINTERFORGE evolved into a full live band after their debut album "Hiemal" (April 2024), sharing stages with the likes of DECAPITATED and DEICIDE.
