200 STAB WOUNDS have released "Sweet Suicide", the second single from their third album, Lowest Form, together with a music video. The record arrives on February 19, 2027 through Metal Blade Records. The clip was made by NOWHERE2RUN, the production company of CODE ORANGE's Jami Morgan and Eric Balderose, and is streaming now on Metal Blade's YouTube channel.
The band describe the song as one about anger, despair, confusion and "conquering your own demons" — whether those are your own or someone else's you're trying to help them through. They rank it among the heaviest tracks on the album, adding that it deals with "what is sometimes an even heavier topic. Enjoy at your own risk!"
"Sweet Suicide" follows album opener "Pangs Of Conscience", which arrived with the album announcement in September. Lowest Form was produced, mixed and mastered by Arthur Rizk (POWER TRIP), with cover art by James Bousema (MUNICIPAL WASTE, FROZEN SOUL). The promise is the same old-school brutality, delivered through leaner arrangements and more room for the riffs to land. The lineup is Steve Buhl (vocals, guitars), Raymond Macdonald (guitars), Todd Thompson (bass) and Owen Pooley (drums).
