ARCH ENEMY played their October 6 show at the Marquee Theatre in Tempe, Arizona, without drummer Daniel Erlandsson, who was too ill to perform. Hank Lin, drummer of "Wrath Across North America 2026" tour support act THROWN INTO EXILE, filled in at the last minute.
In a post shared after the concert, the band said Lin "learned the set in under 3 hours and absolutely crushed it with no soundcheck or rehearsal," thanking him for "saving the day." ARCH ENEMY expect Erlandsson back behind the kit for the next show, Thursday, October 8, in Salt Lake City.
The North American run is part of ARCH ENEMY's first year with singer Lauren Hart, who replaced Alissa White-Gluz in late 2025. Speaking at Summer Breeze this year, Erlandsson said fans "really embraced" Hart from her very first shows in China in March 2026, and guitarist Michael Amott added that he and Erlandsson are "constantly working on new material." The Hart era's first studio track, "To The Last Breath", came out earlier this year.
