ARCHON ANGEL, the melodic metal band led by SAVATAGE vocalist Zak Stevens and Italian guitarist, songwriter and producer Aldo Lonobile, will release its third studio album, Beyond The Grave, on December 11, 2026 via Frontiers Music Srl. The title track is out now with an official lyric video.
The project started as a shared love letter to SAVATAGE's cinematic, melody-first approach, and with the new record the pair say they are pushing further into their own identity. Stevens calls Beyond The Grave the band's strongest effort to date and says the writing team deliberately chased areas and influences ARCHON ANGEL hadn't touched before: exploring new angles is the goal on every record, he explains, but this time they managed to go much further.
Stevens and Lonobile, who also plays bass on the album, are joined on the recording by drummer Marco Lazzarini and keyboardist Antonio Agate, who handled the synths, piano and orchestral arrangements.

He left in 2000, returned for SAVATAGE's 2015 Wacken Open Air appearance alongside Oliva, and fronted the band on its 2025–2026 comeback shows with Chris Caffery, Al Pitrelli, Johnny Lee Middleton and Jeff Plate.
