BOSCO SACRO have shared "Gift From The Fog," the second single and video from their second album Inhabit, out November 6 on Supernatural Cat Records.
Michele Canevari directed it as a direct continuation of her video for the title track, which we featured when the album was announced in September. The song works the same way on the record: the band explain that as the noise of "Inhabit" peaks, the wall of sound breaks and slides into a suspended white haze, where "Gift From The Fog" takes over. It was written on a day when thick, silent fog swallowed Pavia, where the quartet rehearsed the whole album, and they describe it as the soundtrack to waking into total quiet, "where the world has lost its sharpness, and where weight and expectations are finally left behind."
Inhabit was composed live in the rehearsal room and recorded over seven days with producer Lorenzo Stecconi (AMENRA, UFOMAMMUT) in the Tuscan hills, then mixed and mastered by him in Rome. Its eight connected tracks set the weight of doom and slowcore against dreamgaze, ambient and trip-hop. It comes on LP, CD, a limited LP + CD bundle with a die-cut sleeve and rotating inserts, and digitally.
The band have also booked their first shows behind the album, with more planned for early 2027:
- December 3 — Das Lot, Vienna, Austria
- December 4 — Church of St. John of Nepomuk, Hradec Králové, Czech Republic
Lineup: Giulia Parin Zecchin (vocals, lyrics), Paolo Monti (guitar), Francesco Vara (guitar), Luca Scotti (drums).
