BREEDING CHAOS Unveil "Cradle of the New Suns", Second Album "Dimensional Demise" Due in December

French death metal band BREEDING CHAOS have released a video for "Cradle of the New Suns", the first single from their second album. The record, "Dimensional Demise", is due on December 18 via the French label Great Dane Records, and pre-orders for the CD digipak are already open.

The band call their music cosmic death metal, and the tag fits. Their debut album, "Distant Planets", built its concept around astrophysics and interstellar phenomena, and the new album's song titles carry on in the same vein: Sagittarius A, the Beehive Cluster, the Orion Nebula and Jupiter's vortex all turn up on the tracklist. "Cradle of the New Suns" sits third in the running order of eleven tracks.

Musically, BREEDING CHAOS aim for weight over speed: groove-driven riffs, controlled dynamics and an atmospheric backbone, with a melodic streak that points back to the Gothenburg school. The press materials name DARK TRANQUILLITY, IN FLAMES, HYPOCRISY, SOILWORK and TEXTURES as reference points, along with the more ambitious, spacier end of modern death metal in the vein of BLOOD INCANTATION.

The new album follows a renewed international push behind "Distant Planets" and the stand-alone single "Legion of the Dead", released in spring 2025. The band are also building up their live presence across France and the rest of Europe.

"Dimensional Demise" tracklist:

  1. The Arrival
  2. The Final State of Matter
  3. Cradle of the New Suns
  4. The Beehive Cluster
  5. Sagittarius A
  6. Architect of Chaos
  7. Jupiter's Vortex
  8. Orion Nebula
  9. Dimensional Demise
  10. Carbon Genesis
