Bruce Dickinson will return to the stage with his solo band in 2027 on a European run cryptically titled "PsychoGod". The tour is split into a summer leg of headline shows and festival slots in June and July, and a November–December arena and theater run with Swedish progressive metallers EVERGREY as support.
These will be Dickinson's first solo shows since "The Mandrake Project" tour wrapped in Brazil in September 2025 after 71 dates on three continents. The sets will mix new songs with fan favorites and deep cuts from across his solo catalog.
Between IRON MAIDEN duties in 2026, Bruce recorded fresh material with his current lineup: guitarists Chris Declercq and Philip Näslund, bassist Tanya O'Callaghan, keyboardist Mistheria and drummer Dave Moreno. "What we do is real and that's so important right now," he says. "A real drummer, a real bass player, real guitarists, real keyboards — A.I. can only copy, it can only pretend. It can never be in love, and it can never play. This band? They can really play!"
His eighth solo album, the follow-up to The Mandrake Project, was largely tracked live last January and February at Dave Grohl's Studio 606 in Northridge, California, with producer Brendan Duffey, who also mixed it. Dickinson has said he cut 16 songs in three weeks, that the record features a collaboration with his son Austin, and that SEPULTURA guitarist Andreas Kisser adds percussion. In August he promised it would be "heavy as shit". No title or release date has been announced yet.
