Professionally filmed footage of DEICIDE's set at this year's Leyendas Del Rock festival is now online. The Florida death metal institution played the Polideportivo Municipal de Villena in Villena, Alicante, Spain, on August 8, 2026, and the festival has released a three-song cut of the show.
The clip runs through "Scars Of The Crucifix", "Dead By Dawn" and "Homage For Satan" — the title track of the band's 2004 album, a cut from the 1990 self-titled debut and a staple from 1992's Legion.
The footage also captures the current DEICIDE lineup on a big European stage. Guitarist Jadran "Conan" Gonzalez, also of EXMORTUS, made his live debut with Glen Benton and Steve Asheim in September 2025 in Curitiba, Brazil, at the opening show of the band's Latin American run with BEHEMOTH. He replaced Kevin Quirion, who left in April 2025 after 15 years, saying he was done with touring and wanted more time with his family. Quirion played on the band's last three records, In The Minds Of Evil (2013), Overtures Of Blasphemy (2017) and Banished By Sin (2024).
Banished By Sin, the most recent DEICIDE studio album, came out in April 2024 via Reigning Phoenix Music. Earlier in 2026 the band toured North America on BEHEMOTH's "The Godless IV" tour alongside ROTTING CHRIST, and headlined its own spring US dates with ROTTING CHRIST and IMMOLATION.
We've followed DEICIDE for a long time — back in the day we gave The Stench Of Redemption an 8.5/10.
