German metal veterans DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER have signed with Napalm Records. The band, formed in 1995, has been working on its thirteenth studio album for nearly two years and plans to release it in summer 2027.
"The ink has only just dried on the contract, and we have long been working on what it has always been about for us: new music," the band says. "Countless hours, our lifeblood, sweat, doubts, euphoria — and, of course, a lot of Reitermania are already a part of it." Napalm senior A&R Sebastian Münch calls them "one of the most important German metal bands of all times."
Before the last studio sessions, the band will play its post-Christmas "Schrei!Nachten" tour between Christmas and New Year's, with ROBSE and DISILLUSION. Their album Der Rote Reiter reached No. 10 on the German chart.
The lineup is Fuchs (vocals), Titus Maximus (guitar), Volk-Man (bass) and Rohgarr (drums).
