Madrid-based stoner doom power trio ELECTRIC VALLEY will release their new studio album, Echo, on November 6 via Small Stone Recordings. The band has shared a video for "Strange Land", and preorders are live on Small Stone's Bandcamp.
Echo was recorded live in one take by Javier Ortiz at Estudio Brazil in Madrid, mixed by drummer Charlie Sánchez and mastered by Chris Gossman at Baseline Audio Labs in Michigan. Its seven tracks run on space-opera themes, galactic odysseys drawn from classic sci-fi, B-movies and old comics, while the music leans into the heaviest, most desert-baked end of the band's sound, with psychedelic, progressive and tribal passages along the way.
The album comes out on CD and digital, plus a limited vinyl edition pressed in Germany together with Kozmik Artifactz.
Formed in 2014, ELECTRIC VALLEY are Mario García (guitar), Charlie Sánchez (drums) and Miky Simón (bass, vocals). Their catalog runs from the 51973 EP (2014) through Multiverse (2015), Two Realities At War (2017) and Tapes From The Galactic Tavern (2021) to Live At Stone Giant (2024). Along the way they have shared stages with YAWNING MAN, GREENLEAF, DEAD MEADOW, ASTEROID, THE MACHINE and Ukraine's own STONED JESUS.
