FRACTURUS Release Third And Final Single "Panoptic Lividity" Ahead Of 'The Synthetic Path'

FRACTURUS have released "Panoptic Lividity", the third and final single from their new album The Synthetic Path, out October 12. The track is on all major streaming platforms and comes with an official music video.

The song pictures a future where human morality has been reduced to data. Every action, thought and impulse is watched, logged and judged by a cold artificial authority: sin is no longer forgiven but compiled, guilt becomes programmable, and free will narrows into a menu of calculated choices. It extends the album's central theme of humanity building machine intelligence and then handing it power over us.

Musically, the band promise more of the fast, technical and aggressive death metal that runs through the record.

"Panoptic Lividity" follows "Grace To Man", which introduced the band's rebuilt lineup in August, and "The Created Divine", which revealed the album's title and date in September. The Synthetic Path can be preordered on CD, with merch, directly from the band, and digitally on Bandcamp.

FRACTURUS will support the album with four Canadian shows at the end of the month:

  • October 28 — London, ON — Supply & Demand
  • October 29 — Toronto, ON — Sneaky Dee's
  • October 30 — Montréal, QC — Piranha Bar
  • October 31 — Québec City, QC — Sonum
