Hamburg's self-styled "doom monks" FVNERAL FVKK are streaming their second album, Indecent Idols, in full via NoCleanSinging.com ahead of its release this Friday, October 23, through Dying Victims Productions.
Formed in 2015 by veterans of Hamburg's extreme metal underground, FVNERAL FVKK play epic, ecclesiastical doom fronted by the clean tenor of vocalist Cantor Cinaedicus. Their lyrics deal only with documented crimes, abuse and corruption within religious institutions. That subject matter runs through Indecent Idols, from "The Beast Of Speyer" to "Bishop Of The Iron Guard", which you can hear above.
The album follows the Lecherous Liturgies EP (2017) and the debut full-length Carnal Confessions (2019).
