IRON MAIDEN are coming back to North America after all. On October 16, Live Nation announced a third and final leg of the band's 50th-anniversary "Run For Your Lives" tour: 16 shows between April 14 and May 16, 2027, with the full stage production in tow.
The band had planned to rest from live work in 2027, but Steve Harris says the North American run that just wrapped went so well that the members talked it over and decided to visit the parts of the continent they had missed, especially the Northwest and the Southeast. The leg ends with two festival headline slots, at Sonic Temple in Columbus, Ohio, and Boardwalk Rock in Ocean City, Maryland. Harris points out that festival crowds aren't only your own fans, "so it's always a challenge and we all love a challenge!"
Manager Rod Smallwood notes that the first leg played to more people per show than ever before and included the band's first headlining stadium shows in the US, all, as he puts it, without mainstream radio support or a single track in the Billboard Hot 100. Eddie's Dive Bars will travel with the tour again.
Support comes from BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, whose new album Social Apocalypse is out March 19, 2027, and THE RAVEN AGE, who recently opened for MAIDEN in South and Central America. It's the band's first all-British three-band bill since 1983.
By the time it ends, "Run For Your Lives" will have played 107 shows to more than three million people in 36 countries.

The artist presale opens Monday, October 19, at 10 a.m. local time, with the general on-sale on Friday, October 23, at 10 a.m. local. Festival tickets are sold through the festivals' own sites. VIP packages include a seated ticket and access to the "Trooper" pre-show party.
