Polish cinematic metal project JASMENO have released an official video for "A Code Of Equivocation", the second clip from their new album 'Assemblage of Cinematic Idioms', after "His Rebirth" with Bart Krysiuk of PATRIARKH.
Founder Sławomir Nietupski, who handles the orchestrations, synthesizers and piano, describes the video as a reflection on a world we are slowly losing and on what happens when humanity drifts away from its origins and its bond with nature. Even inside that vision of fading beauty, he says, there is still room for hope: as long as we can listen to the silence and remember who we once were, we may still find our way back.
The album came out on September 11 via Tangled Records on CD, LP and cassette, and reached streaming services on September 21. Its six long pieces run close to 50 minutes and are built around a virtual symphony orchestra, with Michał Grall on guitar, Artur Ołkowicz on bass and Brian Gawaski on vocals. Guests include Marc Grewe (ex-MORGOTH), Snorre Ruch (THORNS), Yusaf Parvez (DØDHEIMSGARD) and Sławomir Maryniewski (ARMAGEDON). The whole record is also streaming on the band's YouTube channel.
