John Bush is finally bringing his ANTHRAX years to European stages. The ARMORED SAINT frontman has announced the "European Stomp Tour 27", his first-ever headline shows on the continent dedicated to the songs he recorded with ANTHRAX between 1993 and 2003. The run opens at Berlin's Lido on July 29, 2027, and wraps up at Motocultor Festival in France on August 21.

Back in August we reported that Wacken Open Air would be the first European stop for this show. Now the full itinerary is out: 17 dates that mix club headliners in Berlin, Budapest, Vienna, Zurich, London and Paris with slots at Wacken, Brutal Assault, Alcatraz, Dynamo Open Air, Summer Breeze and Motocultor. The UK leg includes a night at KK's Steel Mill in Wolverhampton, the venue owned by former JUDAS PRIEST guitarist K.K. Downing.

The setlist will draw on all four albums Bush made with ANTHRAX — Sound Of White Noise, Stomp 442, Volume 8: The Threat Is Real and We've Come For You All — and promises deeper cuts that haven't been played live in years alongside the obvious anthems.

"Europa! I've come for you all!!!" Bush said in the announcement, calling it "finally time" to take the show "to the heavy metal continent and some of the best fans in the world."

The concept was born in December 2025, when Bush played three U.S. shows of his ANTHRAX-era material, followed by an appearance at Milwaukee Metalfest in June 2026. On those dates he was backed by his CATEGORY 7 bandmates Phil Demmel and Mike Orlando on guitars and Jason Bittner on drums, with his longtime ARMORED SAINT partner Joey Vera on bass. ANTHRAX guitarist Scott Ian has been openly supportive of the project, and in September he told fans it's "sad" that most people don't know three of the four Bush-era records.

Bush fronted ANTHRAX from 1992 to 2005 then came back for a short second stint before Joey Belladonna reclaimed the job in 2010.
