KK'S PRIEST, the band led by former JUDAS PRIEST guitarist K.K. Downing with ex-PRIEST singer Tim "Ripper" Owens on vocals, have released a music video for a new recording of "Never Satisfied". The song first appeared on JUDAS PRIEST's 1974 debut album Rocka Rolla, and the clip was directed by John Psaras.

"Never Satisfied" was written by Downing and PRIEST's original frontman Al Atkins, and Rob Halford sang it on the album. This isn't the first time Downing and Owens have revisited it: they put out a different take in June 2025. The 2026 version is a fuller rebuild, with new drums from Sean Elg, fresh rhythm guitars by Downing and A.J. Mills, and a new mix and master. The track is available as a free download on Bandcamp for a limited time.

Downing says the idea was to look back across a career that spans decades and see how the old songs sound so many years on. Another reason is business: Reach Music has acquired the rights to Rocka Rolla and Sad Wings Of Destiny. Rocka Rolla has already been remastered and reissued, and Sad Wings Of Destiny follows in November. According to Downing, the deal "freed the whole thing up" and made it possible to bring those records back into circulation.

Asked to compare the two singers, Downing called Halford and Owens "two great singers and performers." Halford will always be tied to the original recordings, he said, while Owens can carry the same material with a slightly different delivery and tone — and either of them can "completely nail down any song."

The release lands mid-tour. KK'S PRIEST are on the road in North America with W.A.S.P., and Downing says the run has reached its halfway point: 21 shows done, 21 to go. He describes the nightly sets as "an explosion of energy," built on classic songs that fans have known for decades and are singing along to.
