New Jersey/Washington DC death metal outfit KONTUSION will hit the road this winter with the East Coast Tour MMXXVI, a week of US dates alongside HEDONIST running from November 30 through December 6. Tickets are on sale now.
The run continues the campaign behind the band's debut album, Insatiable Lust For Death, which Profound Lore Records released in the summer of 2025. Its ten tracks pair a cavernous, hellish tone with riffs, blasts and walls of feedback that stay remarkably tight for all their filth — a record built around the chaos and large-scale atrocity of the world it was written in.
On stage, the core duo of drummer Chris Moore and vocalist/guitarist Mark Bronzino will once again be joined by Shar Clay on second guitar. These shows also mark the first time Erika Osterhout handles bass for the band.
Insatiable Lust For Death was recorded by Chris Pierce at Volume IV Studios, with additional tracking at Damaged City Studios, then mixed by Kevin Bernsten at Developing Nations and mastered by Nick Townsend at Townsend Mastering. Artwork is by Rotting Reign.
