MIDNIGHT have shared a live visualizer for "Violence On Violence," the second taste of Satanic Attack Live!, which Metal Blade Records releases on November 6. The clip arrives two weeks before the Cleveland black'n'roll trio heads out across North America as main support to GWAR.
The song is one of the ten cuts from 2011's Satanic Royalty that MIDNIGHT play front to back, in the original running order, on the new record. It was captured over two sold-out nights at Knucklehead in Hollywood on May 28 and 29, 2026, during the Satanic Royalty 15th Anniversary World Tour. Five more songs fill out the set, including "Shock Til Blood," "T.A.P." and "Fucking Speed And Darkness." Mark Borders recorded the shows, and Zach Rippy mixed and mastered them. "You Can't Stop Steel" was the first track released from the album.
Founder, bassist and vocalist Athenar makes it clear that nothing was polished after the fact. According to him, there is no "unleashed in the studio" trickery here: the rushed tempos, forgotten lyrics and bum notes all stayed in. He pictures the kind of live album Steely Dan might make in masks, leather and bullet belts, in a sweltering club full of maniacs throwing beer on the wah pedal, and says he wouldn't have it any other way.
Satanic Attack Live! comes out on CD, digital and vinyl with a poster. The US color variant is Blue White Black A Side B Side; in Europe there's 180g black and a Blood Splatter edition limited to 350 copies. A limited LP + 7" special edition (500 copies, EU and band exclusive) is also on the way.
The recording lineup is Athenar (bass, vocals), DK Vagslay (guitars) and Iron Possessor (drums).
