Rob Zombie has marked Halloween with a new music video for "Sir Lord Acid Wolfman", taken from his latest album, The Great Satan, out now via Nuclear Blast Records.
It's another monster-movie chapter from an album that has already produced videos for "The Black Scorpion", "Tarantula" and "Black Rat Coffin". "Sir Lord Acid Wolfman" also turned up recently as the B-side of "I Love My Robot", a new single by Rob's wife Sheri Moon Zombie, issued as a limited-edition picture disc that has since sold out worldwide.
Released in February, The Great Satan was Zombie's first studio album in five years, following 2021's The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy. Alongside the singles above, its standouts include "Punks And Demons", "Heathen Days", "(I'm A) Rock 'N' Roller" and "F.T.W. 84". The record sold 35,000 copies in its first week.
Zombie's current band features returning guitarist Mike Riggs, who rejoined after John 5 left for MÖTLEY CRÜE in 2022, and returning bassist Rob "Blasko" Nicholson, who replaced Matt "Piggy D." Montgomery in 2024.
This summer Zombie co-headlined the "Freaks On Parade" tour across North America with Marilyn Manson, running from August 20 in West Palm Beach, Florida, to September 20 at Toyota Pavilion in Concord, California.
Beyond music, Zombie has written and directed nine feature films, including House Of 1000 Corpses, The Devil's Rejects, Halloween and The Munsters, and has sold more than 15 million albums worldwide.
