French-Canadian death metal and blackened crust band SACCAGE have premiered "Béton armé" via NoCleanSinging.com. It is the second track revealed from their fourth album, Chronophage, which Caligari Records releases on CD on November 20, with vinyl following around the turn of the year.
The new song follows "Terreur diurne", which we covered in September and which is streaming on Caligari's Bandcamp, where the album is up for pre-order. Chronophage mixes old-school death metal, grindcore and dark crust with relentless D-beats. Its nihilistic, satirical lyrics take aim at a "dystopian, decaying, and time-consuming world". The album was mixed and mastered by Cody Baresich (ISKRA, HEDONIST), and the cover art is by Brad Moore.
The quintet from Québec City formed in the late 2000s.
