Finnish post-metal outfit SEES have shared a lyric video for "Silmän Tottuessa Pimeään", the closing track of their debut full-length Suoja. Agonia Records will release the album on November 20 on LP, CD and digital formats, and pre-orders are open now.
The title translates roughly as "as the eye adjusts to the dark", and the label frames the song in exactly those terms: a slow immersion in shadow and unease, where darkness gradually stops feeling foreign and becomes familiar.
When we first reported on Suoja in August, Agonia had revealed the album and its tracklist but not a date. The record — its name means "shelter" in Finnish — spans seven compositions exploring the thin line between refuge and isolation, moving from restrained melancholy to towering crescendos with shimmering guitars and scream-led vocals sung entirely in Finnish. The Tampere band formed in 2024, and the album was recorded and produced by Tuomas Kokko (SWALLOW THE SUN, GHOST BRIGADE). Agonia points fans of CULT OF LUNA and AMENRA in their direction.
