Danny Wimmer Presents has revealed the lineup for Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival 2027, which takes over Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio, on May 13–16, 2027. The organizers bill it as the festival's biggest edition yet: nearly 150 artists across five stages over four days.
IRON MAIDEN top the bill on Friday, May 14, with KORN closing the weekend on Sunday, May 16. The daily headliners are:
- Thursday, May 13: BLINK-182, THE OFFSPRING, TURNSTILE
- Friday, May 14: IRON MAIDEN, A PERFECT CIRCLE, ALICE IN CHAINS
- Saturday, May 15: FALLING IN REVERSE, A DAY TO REMEMBER, BEARTOOTH
- Sunday, May 16: KORN, $UICIDEBOY$, FAITH NO MORE
As usual for Sonic Temple, the poster mixes rock, punk, hip-hop and alternative acts with a serious metal undercard. Further down the bill you'll find MESHUGGAH, MASTODON, TESTAMENT, MINISTRY, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, FEAR FACTORY, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, BLOOD INCANTATION, CROWBAR, GWAR, KNOCKED LOOSE, LACUNA COIL, SHADOWS FALL, IN THIS MOMENT, SYLOSIS, UNEARTH, MIDNIGHT, MONOLORD, GREEN LUNG, SHADOW OF INTENT, FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY, AFTER THE BURIAL, IMMINENCE, SPITE, EMMURE, OTEP, INFECTED RAIN and HANABIE., plus Chad Gray performing as the voice of MUDVAYNE and HELLYEAH.
For IRON MAIDEN, the Columbus date lands during the third and final North American leg of the "Run For Your Lives" tour, which the band announced last week for spring 2027.
"Sonic Temple has become one of those special weekends where the whole rock community comes together," said Chamie McCurry, general manager of Danny Wimmer Presents. "We build each lineup to celebrate the artists who shaped this music, the bands driving it forward, and the next generation that will define it."
Alongside the music, the festival keeps its art program: art pillars by visual artists, live-painted Art Walls and the Art Mart marketplace. Details of the 2027 art lineup will follow. Single-day and four-day passes, including GA, GA Plus, VIP and premium tiers, are on sale now, with a layaway plan starting at $1 down. DWP extended its partnership with Historic Crew Stadium in 2025, keeping Sonic Temple in Columbus through at least 2030.
