Swiss progressive metal band STEREOPHRENICS have released their debut full-length, Paracosm 2.0, on all digital platforms through Greensunlight Productions.
The eight-track album explores altered states of consciousness, imaginary worlds, inner escape and the gap between perception and reality. It was led by the single "State Of Paradox", which we covered earlier this month and which tells of a consciousness trapped inside an unresponsive body. Paracosm 2.0 was recorded, mixed and mastered by Serge Moratel at REC Studio in Geneva.
Fronted by Elisa Colacioppo, the Geneva band have been active for about a decade and released two independent EPs before signing with Greensunlight in 2024. They cite PAIN OF SALVATION, EVERGREY, EPICA, LACUNA COIL and THE GATHERING among their touchstones.
Lineup: Elisa Colacioppo (vocals), Giovanni Tramparulo (guitar), Thijs Kos (bass, backing vocals), Nicola Giandomenico (keyboards, samples), Valentin Boada (drums).
