SYSTEM OF A DOWN have added a fourth and final show at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, on Saturday, June 12, 2027. It joins the June 5, 6 and 10 dates, turning what started as the band's first-ever Rose Bowl booking into a four-night stand.
PIERCE THE VEIL are special guests on June 5 and 6, while GOJIRA support on June 10 and 12. Promoted by Live Nation and 30e, the four shows will be the band's only North American headline concerts of 2027. Tickets for the new date go on sale today, October 27, at 12 p.m. local time via Ticketmaster.
The extra night comes after a summer of sold-out European stadium shows in Paris, London and Warsaw, the band's first in Europe in a decade, and as "Toxicity" turns 25 — an anniversary the band marked earlier this fall with a free exhibition in Los Angeles. Before Pasadena, SYSTEM OF A DOWN head to Brazil and then Australia and New Zealand in January and February.
Daron Malakian, Serj Tankian, Shavo Odadjian and John Dolmayan still haven't followed up 2005's Mezmerize and Hypnotize with a full album; their only new music since then remains the two 2020 songs, "Protect The Land" and "Genocidal Humanoidz", released to raise funds for Armenia.
