Budapest death metal band VÉR will release their debut album, A Féreg Pusztulása, on December 3 via Me Saco Un Ojo Records on CD and vinyl LP. The first taste is the video for "Paranoia", out now on the label's YouTube channel.
The Hungarians first surfaced in September 2024 with an 18-minute self-titled demo, which Me Saco Un Ojo issued on cassette early the following year. The full-length stays firmly old-school in its roots — the label points to early CEMETARY, early GRAVE, mid-'90s IMMOLATION and early ABSU — but wraps the riffs in a pitch-black atmosphere built from space and suffocation, careful use of effects pedals and a real sense of dynamics. The press release also name-checks MARTYRIUM's cult classic L.V.X. Occulta as a reference point.
The cover artwork is by Brad Moore.
