Finnish atmospheric metal outfit BEYOND SEVENTH DIMENSION have shared a music video for "Dawn Of Extinction". The song comes from the project's debut album, Tähtien ikuinen suru, which Inverse Records released on September 4, 2026.
The clip follows the song's apocalyptic theme: the sun's last scorching moment and the collapse that wipes out humanity. The band says it wanted to capture "the visual weight of our entire existence dissolving into the cosmic void."
Two months after the release, BEYOND SEVENTH DIMENSION say the response to the record has been deeply moving, with listeners immersing themselves in its dark, melancholic take on the fragility of existence and the scale of the cosmos. New material is already in the works, and there are plans to take the project to the stage.
BEYOND SEVENTH DIMENSION began in 2025 as a one-man instrumental project. Vocals arrived after the very first song, and the idea quickly grew from a possible EP into a full-length. Tähtien ikuinen suru (Finnish for "the eternal sorrow of the stars") was mixed and mastered by Saku Moilanen at Deep Noise Studios, with cover art by Tiina Törmänen. It was first planned as a digital-only release, but demand pushed the band to press a limited CD edition, available through Bandcamp.
