Ozzfest, the festival Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne launched in 1996, now has confirmed dates and venues for its 2027 comeback: three one-day events in the U.K., the U.S. and, for the first time in its history, Mexico. Live Nation is promoting all three.
- July 10, 2027 — The National Bowl, Milton Keynes, U.K.
- September 11, 2027 — Glen Helen Amphitheater, San Bernardino, California, U.S.
- September 18, 2027 — Estadio GNP Seguros, Mexico City, Mexico
The San Bernardino date is a homecoming of sorts: Glen Helen is where the very first Ozzfest took place 30 years ago. The British edition moves to Milton Keynes rather than Birmingham's Villa Park, which had been floated earlier as the U.K. host when the festival first confirmed its return in September. The National Bowl is a natural-amphitheater site with a long history of big outdoor rock and metal shows.
These will be the first Ozzfests since the New Year's Eve 2018 show at The Forum in Los Angeles, and the first without Ozzy, who died in July 2025, weeks after his farewell "Back To The Beginning" concert at Villa Park.
Sharon Osbourne is curating the lineups, which will be revealed "in the coming months." "Ozzy was the first to launch his own traveling metal festival," she said in the announcement. "And Ozzfest will always remain an important part of Ozzy's legacy."
Jack Osbourne, who is helping put the festival together, has already said each edition will run a single day and that new artists will again get a platform, with at least one slot set aside for an unsigned act. Sharon, for her part, has said she would like to "mix up the genres" and has publicly name-checked Rob Halford as someone she wants to see on the bill. She has also said that if demand is there, Ozzfest could become a traveling festival again from 2028.
