The productivity of this gloomy individual has long ceased to surprise anyone. In terms of the quantity and regularity of album releases per unit of time, he can already rival someone like Lemmy Kilmister (in his best years). As for the quality of releases, one can say with confidence that while they may not revolutionize the genre, the level — the high level — that Adrian Hates and company have set for themselves with their best works is maintained one hundred percent. The classic packaging (black bars top and bottom), the obligatory dark sketches in the booklet, and the music recognizable from its very first sounds — describing it for fans would be pointless, as they already know everything about DIARY OF DREAMS themselves. For the uninitiated, I will say that the album offers the listener everything that has pleased the ear on each of the previous releases: electronic-synthetic goth, the triumph of mid-tempo, a dark musical essence wrapped in melancholic instrumental forms. This record will obviously not bring the band widespread mass popularity or land in major charts, but it will certainly not leave the discerning listener disappointed.
