"Nebularium" is the debut from these young and talented Italians, released in a special edition for russia: song titles have been translated and a bonus track has been added, recorded live in the studio with good quality.

Overall, this album is not just standard melodic death metal. It's that characteristically Italian (setting aside power metal a la RHAPSODY) blend of styles, ideas, and unconventional approach to music. The disc features both fast-paced compositions typical of melodic death, as well as doom-adjacent tracks with riffs reminiscent of later-period Katatonia, plus the beautifully Opeth-like instrumental "Awakening."

All the necessary ingredients seem to be present on this album: the unconventional approach, the technical proficiency, and the high quality of recording and mixing. Yet something is still missing from this disc — or rather, there's probably too much of it. Sometimes the compositions feel drawn out, and you get the urge to simply skip ahead. Still, many fans of the genre should check out this work. Hurry up, because on their next album DISARMONIA MUNDI will be a completely different band.
